Modified Ltd was established in 2018 as a building company providing refurbishments and renovations for domestic and commercial properties. With a speciality in electrical installation and testing by our in-house fully qualified electrician, we are able to undertake all aspects of building renovations, including plumbing and electrical installations.

Over the past few years, our focus has shifted to meet the growing demand for renewable energy, and we now focus mainly on installing and maintaining solar photovoltaic installations and energy storage systems, for both the domestic and commercial market.

We are certified by MCS for both Solar PV and Battery Installation, registered with NAPIT, and are members of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC), and the UK Government’s Trustmark organisation.

You contact us, either by sending us a message using the enquiry button, or calling us on the number given above, and we book in an no-obligation assessment of your property to discuss your usage requirements and generation capacity.

We visit your property to take measurements, check your existing electrical installation and current usage, and use a drone to inspect your roof, taking images to assess any shading issues.

We then provide you with a comprehensive estimate of the generation capacity of a suitable installation, and a full quote pack and contract.

If you choose to go ahead, we book in the scaffolders, roofing contractors and electrical installation team, and make all the necessary applications to the DNO. The installation usually takes between 2-3 days.

Your system is tested, commissioned and fully operational. We provide you with the MCS and Electrical Certificates, DNO and Building Control notifications, and a full handover pack including manuals & warranties for all of the equipment. We show you how everything works, and help you choose a suitable import & export tariff with your energy provider.
